Chic, with their blend of jazz, soul and funk, and Nile Rodgers’ distinctive guitar playing, got all of Southsea Common moving tonight with a storming set.
Rodgers has famously written or played on albums that have sold more than 750m copies - both under his own name and with David Bowie, Diana Ross, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga and a whole host more. Tonight everyone near the Common Stage in Victorious will have found it impossible to not move along to Chic’s rhythms and beats.
