Two Victorious festival stages have had to be closed because of the weather
Two stages at Victorious festival have been closed due to the weather.
The Bandstand Stage, which was due to see sets from Southsea Alternative Choir, Tash Hills, Roxy’s Revenge, many others and a headline set by local favourites Bemis has been axed.
And so has the Twisted Tea Rooms, which was due to be headlined by Interesting Wallpaper.
A brief statement from the organisers said: “Due to today’s weather conditions, Live at the Band Stand and Twisted Tea Rooms will be closed today.”
The Met Office is forecasting rain for most of today, and an average wind speed of 18mph - however the strongest gusts on the seafront could be up to 38mph.
