A tiara, tea and prosecco: 95th birthday celebrations at The Fernes Care Home

A very special birthday was celebrated at The Fernes Care Home as one of the residents Thelma marked her 95th birthday surrounded by the people she loves.

She enjoyed a small and intimate family gathering in the home’s ground floor lounge, creating a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, love and special memories.

Looking every inch the birthday girl, she proudly wore a beautiful tiara and birthday sash as she celebrated her incredible milestone. Family joined her for a traditional birthday treat of tea and cake, along with a celebratory glass of prosecco.

It was a lovely occasion and a chance for everyone to come together to celebrate 95 wonderful years and make memories that will be treasured for years to come.

General manager Alina Danetiu said ‘It was a real pleasure to see Thelma celebrate such a wonderful milestone surrounded by her family.
