Weight loss stories are everywhere. But the ones that stick with you are about more than pounds lost. They’re about people.

Meet Kayleigh, one of my Slimming World members who has just reached an incredible 3 stone loss.

What makes Kayleigh’s journey remarkable is how she’s done it. She manages both gluten free and dairy free diets. That means extra planning, reading labels, and adapting meals so she can still follow Food Optimising without feeling restricted. She’s proved that having dietary needs doesn’t have to hold you back. With the right support and a bit of creativity, it can absolutely work.

Kayleigh was also voted our Women of the Year at group. She’s always the first to offer encouragement, to share a recipe that’s worked for her, and to be honest about the tough weeks. She’s part of my social team too, and I couldn’t be prouder of her. She’s so supportive of other members and is a huge part of what makes our group feel like a community.

And she doesn’t do it alone. Kayleigh comes to group with her mum and her grandma.Three generations, walking in together each week. When one of them is struggling, the other two lift her up. When someone has a win, they celebrate it together. That’s what Slimming World is really about. It’s not just about food. It’s about support, accountability, and doing it together.

Kayleigh’s story shows what’s possible when you combine a plan that works with people who have your back. She has more energy, more confidence, and she’s an inspiration to everyone who walks through our doors.

If Kayleigh’s story has inspired you, and you want to lose weight too, come and join us.
