The empty Pizza Hut restaurant in Portsmouth captured in pictures and video

The closure of Portsmouth’s remaining Pizza Hut Buffet Restaurant in Portsmouth has evoked nostalgic memories from local resident Sam Garrett who captured these pictures and video.

He said: "I decided to pop the drone up to evoke some nostalgia from the people of Pompey.

"This was created for those to share their favourite memories of the location after two decades and also, to engage with the local community to understand what they’d like to see in its place."

Pizza Hut closed in October 2025.
