The Fernes visit Orange Grove Hotel and Gardens
Six lovely residents have enjoyed a beautiful minibus outing to the stunning Orange Grove Hotel & Gardens, formerly known as Coldeast Manor, in Sarisbury Green.

What a hidden gem! This magnificent historic manor house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and grounds, which our residents thoroughly enjoyed exploring and admiring.
They also discovered some fascinating history behind the building, which dates back centuries and was once a grand Victorian country estate!

After enjoying a lovely stroll and taking in the scenery, they treated themselves to tea and delicious cake, with plenty of wonderful conversations along the way.
A truly lovely afternoon combining history, fresh air, beautiful surroundings and great company. It’s outings like these that make The Fernes life enrichment programme so special!
Gemma Woodford, Activities Lead said 'At The Fernes care home, we believe life enrichment is about creating meaningful experiences, making new memories and ensuring our residents continue to enjoy everything life has to offer. Taking our residents to new places gives them opportunity to enjoy new surroundings and share special moments together.'
