College students to gain experience at music festival

The group from Portsmouth College have enrolled in work experience placements with Victorious Festival, which is due to take place on Southsea Common on August 27 and 28.

The promising team of students range from journalists to musicians and they said they are excited to take part in one of Portsmouth’s biggest events this year.

Some of the students are in bands or are budding solo artists, and they will be performing at the festival across the weekend entertaining the crowds to their largest audiences yet.

Young journalists from the college will also be acting as interviewers at the event to musicians, bands and organisers.

As well as interviewing, they will also be reporting on events and reviewing.
