A mum-of-three from Widley is setting up a new Slimming World group four years after losing weight herself.

Lindsey Wright joined four years ago with the initial aim of losing a stone.

She said: ‘From the moment I walked in the door the group was friendly and very welcoming and all my nerves just disappeared.

‘I had struggled before to lose weight and maintain it before but being part of a group and making new friends and support was the key to my success.’

Lindsey ended up two stone lighter, reaching what she calls her ‘dream weight’, and said she liked how she could set her own target and that no judgements were ever made.

Now she has decided she wants to
help others achieve their dream target weights and is opening a new Slimming World group on Wednesday, April 27 at 9.30am at Purbrook Centre, Stakes Road, Purbrook, PO7 5LX.
