Almost time to move - but I'll miss my Auntie Sandy

We have exactly one week to go until we move into our new home. Eek!

Actually, it’s very exciting. We’re moving to Clanfield, to a bungalow that is opposite fields and a farm.

We sold our house in Copnor in March and have been living with my Auntie Sandy in Swanmore (near Bishops Waltham) for the past 18 weeks.

I have to admit that we’ve been getting rather comfy there.

Yes we’re living out of a bedroom as opposed to a whole house – something I thought we’d both really struggle with.

But it’s actually been a breeze (for us anyway) and, to be honest, we’ve both rather enjoyed the simplicity of being back with proper ‘grown-ups’.

I moved in with Matt when I was about 22 and have had responsibilities ever since.

I admit 22 isn’t exactly a baby, but it’s becoming more and more common for people to stay living with their parents into their late 20s and early 30s.

Because I moved in with Matt quite young, I’ve had all the isuses associated with running a household to contend with, most notably the sheer cost of living on your own.

So, 18 weeks on and we’re about to move into our second home together – the home in which we will hopefully have a family one day.

I’m feeling the kind of excitement you get before going on holiday or starting a new job, but I’m also a little nervous too.

Perhaps we’ve been spoiled living with my auntie and will now struggle to fit back into the world of being a homeowner. I doubt it, but I will miss living with Sandy.

I’ve rather enjoyed it. If I’m not home and it starts to rain, my washing miraculously appears on my bed, all neatly folded and not in a pile.

She also has a dishwasher – what a wonder!

But most of all, I will miss her. I’ve genuinely loved living with her and although I think she will miss Matt more than me (he says he does more cleaning and household chores, although I do contest this slightly), I will never, ever forget what she’s done for us. Family is a wonderful thing.

IF I HAD A FIGURE LIKE THAT, I WOULDN’T WEAR CLOTHES EITHER

It seems everyone is on holiday at the moment – apart from me.

TV and radio presenter Myleene Klass has been putting photos of herself all over social media as she enjoys a break with her two daughters, Ava and Hero.

The yummy mummy may be vacationing, but that hasn’t stopped her from constantly keeping her fans updated by posting numerous snaps that all show her washboard stomach and enviable figure.

She even uploaded a video to Instagram of her tossing pancakes…in her bikini.

Obviously. Because we all do that, don’t we?

I admit that jealousy is a terrible thing.

But to be fair, if I had a figure like hers, then I’d probably never wear clothes either!

PHILLIP AND HOLLY’S FUNNY DIG AT TAYLOR AND TOM’S T-SHIRT

I love how celebrities mock each other.

This week the This Morning duo Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have been seen mocking Hollywood heavyweight couple Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston.

The TV presenters have been on holiday in Portugal and showed their sense of humour by splashing about in the sea wearing t-shirts that declared their love for one another.

Celeb-watchers will know that is something Tom Hiddleston did during the July 4th vacation that he shared with Taylor, when he was photographed in an ‘I heart TS’ T-shirt.

Phillip put the pictures on Instagram with the caption ‘Willofield’ – a funny dig at the ‘Swiddleston’ name given to Taylor and Tom.
