John Mousinho’s men once again came from behind, this time at Wigan, with a 2-1 success through goals from Regan Poole and Paddy Lane.
The Latics were reduced to 10 men in the 48th minute following Charlie Wyke’s straight red for a challenge on Marlon Pack, but it didn’t affect the scoreline and here are our Pompey player ratings...
9. Alex Robertson - 9 - MOM
Magnificent showing. Made it two assists in two games following his part in Lane’s goal, before dropping a little deeper when Pack came off. Goal-bound late shot was superbly turned around the post by Tickle. Certainly impressing during this run in the side and remains a player capable of conjuring up something out of nothing. 10. Paddy Lane - 7
(Replaced by Gavin Whyte on 66 minutes) Wonderful form continued with goals in each of his last three matches, on this occasion was a left-footed snapshot. Otherwise some nice touches and looking full of confidence, as you’d expect. A little quieter than in recent games, but still crucially involved. Photo: Jason Brown
11. Colby Bishop - 7
Took plenty of bruises up front and his battle with Hughes was an intriguing one. Few sniffs of goal, but never stops putting himself around and chasing lost causes. Such a team player. Photo: Jason Brown
12. Abu Kamara - 7
(Replaced by Terry Devlin on 86 mins Terry Devlin) Puts a shift in and has an impressive habit of being able to get to the byline down the left and produce something. Growing with every game and a player Mousinho is rightly delighted with . Photo: Jason Brown
