'What a beautiful journey': Il Foxo confirms closure as owners focus on main cafe in West Sussex
Coffee enthusiasts prepare to say goodbye to a popular venue
Customers will bid farewell to a coffee shop which has confirmed it will be closing to focus on its latest venue which opened last year.
And after being part of the food scene for more than two years, the owners - Loizo Kola and Berenice Marie - have decided to shut up shop and turn their attention on their site in Worthing which opened last April.

Taking to social media, the owners said: “Two years ago, we opened the doors of IL FOXO, and what a beautiful journey it has been.
“After so many lovely memories and amazing people, we’ve decided to close our Havant location so we can focus on our main café in Worthing. From next month, the new owners will take over, and in the weeks that follow, the café will welcome a new name and a new identity.
“But this is not goodbye. IL FOXO is still very much alive and well in Worthing, where we’ll continue doing what we love and welcoming you with the same passion. Thank you for being part of our journey over the past two years. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to welcome you in Worthing.”
Loizo’s passion for coffee was the driving force for the initial site and customers have expressed their sadness at the loss of another independent in the area.
The new owner of the cafe and an open date for the premises has not been confirmed.
