Last week the team at Whispers tweeted Theo about their business during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and were one of six lucky winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.

As a result, Whispers has gained hundreds more followers and increased interest in their home care services.

Sean Brewer, from Whispers, said: ‘It is a fantastic achievement for us, and the result of a lot of time and effort spent raising our online profile.

‘It’s great to have support from Theo who has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following. We love using social media to tell the world about our incredible staff, and the great work they do delivering exceptional levels of care to our service users.’

Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue chairman, Theo Paphitis, said: ‘We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.

‘My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings. The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish the Whispers team every success.’
