Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays to get new retailers soon, confirms director

NEW retailers will soon be opening their doors in a shopping outlet for the first time, it has been announced.

The director of Portmsouth’s Gunwharf Quays Yvonne Clay, revealed exclusively to The News that new brands are on their way for shoppers – but remained tight-lipped about the exact details.

It comes as non-essential retail reopened on April 12, and as Gunwharf Quays celebrates its 20th anniversary.

She said: ‘I can’t tell you who yet, but we’ve got some new brands coming soon.

‘I’m not allowed to namedrop just yet but we have some really exciting plans.

‘There has been a huge amount of doom and gloom in the retail world lately and it has been tough for people, so it’s amazing to have some good news and to have brands on the phone, desperate to come here.’

As part of the retail outlet’s 20th anniversary, Gunwharf Quays is planning to launch a series of giveaways and discounts for customers.
