Dental plan gives charity cash

Denplan in Winchester gave the cash to The Haven, which is run by a charity providing personalised care and support to people with breast cancer.

The centre applied to the Denplan Community Fund for help with purchasing materials such as massage oils, aromatherapy oils and acupuncture needles essential to prescribing therapies to relieve the physical side effects of breast cancer and the necessary medical treatment.

Trusts and foundations executive Emma Bazeley said: ‘We’re very grateful. We simply could not provide our vital programme of support without help from the local community.

‘Denplan’s donation will help to ensure we have all the materials we need to carry out treatments such as massage, aromatherapy and acupuncture.’
