Talented Andrew, who together with his husband Robert runs Creatiques Bridal Boutique, in Albert Road, also performs as Portsmouth’s biggest diva – drag act Miss G.

And Miss G put on her finest dress for a fundraiser at the Queen’s Hotel in Southsea – raising a whopping £4,500 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Miss G's fabulous sell-out cabaret show was completed with a team of other talented entertainers from Portsmouth including Jodie Vinall, Flavio De Brito, The Cantardo Ladies Choir and a special guest appearance from Rachael Hawnt. None took a fee for their appearance.

The show also featured a raffle with prizes donated from local businesses, including a hamper from Co-op Funeralcare.

Andrew, 53, said: ‘It was the best show for a very long time, everyone enjoyed the evening. Something was special about the night.’

Andrew has held various fundraisers for charity over the past 17 years after a close friend was treated for HIV.

Andrew's other fundraising achievements include raising £3,000 for Portsmouth Breast Friends and £7,920 to purchase two vein finder machines for the urology department at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.

Andrew balances performing as Miss G alongside ownership of hair salon HairdressSir and bridal shop Creatiques.
