David, 36, said: ‘When pubs and restaurants were forced to close. we were massively affected. People had to save costs and we lost a large amount of business pretty much over night.

‘We had to do something different otherwise we might not still be here today.’

The dad-of-one, who has a team of six working for him, added: 'Our ambition is for Love Your Pub to be the undisputed online hospitality platform in the UK used by trade, as well as the general public.

‘We’re really glad that we have been able to overcome the challenges we have faced and have not only survived what has been thrown at us, but we’ve thrived. Hopefully it’s the start of something even bigger for us.’

His firm now offers help to those in the hospitality industry to find good deals on services, with new brands including Love Your Insurance and Love Your Finance.
