'Group Activities For Visually Impaired Adults', had a great time on their stall at the Stubbington Fayre on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th August 2024.

The hot, sunny weather welcomed crowds to Stubbington Recreation Ground, to enjoy the donkey derby, entertainment, and many stalls from charities, groups, and traders.

'Group Activities For Visually Impaired Adults' had a lovely time chatting to other locals while raising awareness of the group, and enjoyed seeing so many people having a great time at the fayre.

£40.58 was raised by a tombola on the stall, and all was paid into the group's bank account by secretary Louise Hayes. This more than covered the stall hire cost of £25.

Thank you to our Mayor Pal Hayre and her Consort, Narinder, and to everyone else who stopped by to find out what we do, and have a go at winning a prize.

And thank you to Lin, who helped me man our stall, and David, who helped set up/take down the stall.

Our group is active within Fareham, Gosport, and Portsmouth, with regular walks and lunch, ten-pin-bowling and coffee, audio described films, and a fitness club.
