HSDC Havant A Level students have a 99% pass rate, with more than three-quarters of our students achieving high grades.
With such good A Level results and extracurricular activities, it’s no wonder that many of our students progress to study at leading Russell Group universities.
Equally, with the range of transferable skills gained at college, HSDC Havant students go on to their dream destinations after completing their A Level courses, including top-ranked universities, higher Apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
On Results Day in 2021, high-achieving student Conall Templeman was over the moon about the grades he achieved thanks to the help and support of HSDC Havant teachers during his studies.
Conall, who achieved three A* grades and two As, said: ‘Thanks to all the support I received, even throughout lockdown last year, I am very happy with my results. With the grades I achieved, I will be going on to do a masters degree in Design Engineering at Imperial College, London.’
A scholarship award provided to Havant Campus student George Shadbolt in 2021 helped him to pursue his lifelong passion of studying law.
George was an exemplary student while studying A Levels in Criminology, Politics and Law. The first in his family to go to university, George was awarded the Study for ALL scholarship in partnership with the University of Law to study towards his future career in the industry.
George said: ‘My time at HSDC Havant has been amazing. I have felt continuously supported throughout my struggles and hardships by teachers, tutors, Health & Wellbeing and fellow students.
‘The college has always been flexible to my specific needs and has offered a wide range of support throughout my time here. As excited as I am about moving on further within my life, I will always miss HSDC and everyone there.’
