Rowner Junior School pupils raise over £800 for the charity YoungMInds
CHILDREN from Rowner Junior School have raised over £800 for the mental health charity YoungMinds.
Inspired by the explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and as part of their Commando Joe curriculum, pupils had to design their own assault courses and then got sponsored by family and friends to complete them.

The pupils raised an impressive total of £808 to support the charity in their work with children with mental health issues.
Year 5 pupil Mariella said: ‘This was an incredibly fun experience and it was great to see people using their imagination to create the obstacles.’
Classmate Rubi added: ‘It made me super pleased that we raised all this money for charity.’
