Figures released by the Department for Education show that 630,024 pupils attend good or outstanding schools, compared to 478,905 in 2010.
Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage has welcomed the news.
She said: ‘This is great news for Gosport and means that more children will gain the knowledge and skills they need for future success.
It’s vital that opportunity is spread right across the country, so it’s encouraging to see that all English regions are benefiting for rising school standards.
