Coronavirus: University of Portsmouth urges people to donate food for students self-isolating
THE University of Portsmouth is calling for kindhearted people to make food donations for students self-isolating due to coronavirus.
With difficulties accessing online shopping the university is gathering emergency food packages for students camped-up who do not have friends or family who can help them.
University catering supplies are being used but a call for non-perishable goods – including soup, pasta, pot noodles, baked beans and treats like chocolate – has been made. Items should be dropped in the Student Union building.
