'It was obvious this would happen': How Facebook reacted after Gosport pub closes after suspected case of coronavirus

A GOSPORT pub has been forced to close following a suspected case of coronavirus.

The Village Home Pub in Village Road, Gosport had reopened to customers over the weekend but has now been forced to close its doors once again.

A post appeared on the pub’s Facebook page today to say there was a case of coronavirus in the pub – though it is unknown who has contracted the virus.

Kieran Gamblen said: ‘“No need to isolate” - but do we know who it was? Is this a confirmed case? What if other customers came into contact with this person. If anyone was there over the weekend shouldn’t they isolate for 14 days? “Will open again on Saturday”, you should be more concerned about getting a deep clean done, not when you’ll reopen.’
