Elation as Roebuck Inn in Soberton set to reopen as Indian Gastro Pub - here's when

The Roebuck Inn, which sits in Droxford Road, Soberton, closed down at the end of April due to the increasing costs with the previous landlords saying it was ‘an absolute pleasure’.

The Facebook post announcing the closure said: “Due to ever increasing costs it is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to leave the pub. We would like to thank all our customers for there support over the past few years and it has been an absolute pleasure to serve you all.

“We would like to wish the Roebuck Inn good fortune in its future & it continues to receive the amazing support we had.” The announcement came as quite a shock to loyal customers - but it has now been confirmed that the site will be thrusting its doors open once again. The venue will be opening on July 12 as an Indian Gastro Pub and people can’t wait.

Krishnas Roebuck Indian Gastro Pub will serve up a range of delicious dishes including tandoori king prawns, paneer curries, a classic chicken curry and much more. The pub will be open Tuesday to Saturday between 11am and 11pm and Sunday between 11am and 10pm - it will be closed on Mondays.
