Just as well as the garden is a multi- purpose site that needs good weather for all the roof-building and fun stuff.

This week we have been meeting people who we hope will adopt our little micro-beds and grow their own in the autumn.

This will help the community garden grow and make possible things we have had to put to one side.

Our secret garden has been found by birds and squirrels and the little wildlife warriors from our activity days.

We’re having a few cake and jumble sales to raise funds for a little lass who is not well – Thursdays between 11am and 1pm.

We will be making scarecrows and kicking off our drop-in family skillshops from this weekend: Sundays 1pm-2.30pm. Thanks to the lottery which has funded more than 50 gardening and crafts skillshops. For more info pop into the garden or call 07530 913 211.
