A taste of life on water

As part of the National Watersports Festival on Hayling Island, Havant Borough Council is offering subsided taster sessions for Havant borough residents.

The activities take place over the weekend of September 6 and 7 and the cost per session will be £10.

Havant councillor Yvonne weeks said: ‘We’re proud not only to support the event, but also to offer a great opportunity for our residents to experience watersports for the first time.

Experiencing new sports in safe and capable hands and taking part in the biggest event of its type is an experience not to be missed.’

Participants need to be aged eight or over and will receive one hour of tuition. All equipment is provided. Call (023) 9266 3873.
