Charity group pockets £500 grant

Acts of Kindness, a group of 1,500 members, which carries out good deeds around Fareham such as collecting food parcels for the homeless, has received the grant from Police Mutual’s sponsorship programme, Force for Good.

The Fareham group were one of eight winners to take a portion of the £2,550 charity pot.

PC Kerry Snuggs, who runs the group said: ‘The group has brought the community closer together and I have been told by locals that they haven’t been involved in an initiative like ours before. It has helped member of the community to help out where they can.’
