Charity set to get help from stores

SHOP workers will be supporting an animal charity.

Wilko stores in Fareham, Havant, Portsmouth, and Waterlooville have chosen to support Canine Partners.

All funds raised will help the charity to train more assistance dogs.

The organisation hopes to transform the lives of people with disabilities, including wounded servicemen and women.

Anne Yendell, director of fundraising, marketing and communications at Canine Partners, said: ‘We are delighted to work in partnership with Wilko as we do not receive any government funding.’
