Bank card stolen from elderly man used at kebab shop in Gosport

A THIEF stole a bank card from an elderly man and then used it in a kebab shop.

The victim, who is in his 70s, had his bag stolen from the disabled toilets in Alver Village Tesco, off Grange Road, Gosport, on February 5.

The bag contained a mobile phone and a wallet with a bank card inside.

Police say that this card was then used to make purchases in convenience stores and a kebab shop in Gosport.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary added: ‘Officers investigating this incident have now identified a man they wish to speak with in connection with it.’
