Boy, 14, injured after being jumped by two thugs in Portsmouth street attack

TWO men assaulted a 14-year-old boy leaving him with injuries.

The victim was attacked just after 8pm on Monday in Deerhurst Crescent, Paulsgrove, by two men wearing dark clothes who looked around 18.

Police are now investigating. Some of the boy's cash was stolen after it fell out of his pocket.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘The boy was walking home when he was assaulted by two men, who also stole some cash that had fallen from his pocket during the assault.

‘The men were aged around 18 years old and wore dark clothing.

‘He sustained minor injuries as a result. Anyone with information is asked to phone 101 with the reference 44200386478.’
