Cannabis factory raided in Hedge End with 250 plants seized to be destroyed and teenager arrested

POLICE raided a cannabis factory containing dozens of plants and arrested a teenager.

Officers and specialised units carried out a drug warrant in Luck Road, Hedge End, at 8.30am this morning. They found 250 cannabis plants in the property, seizing them for destruction.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: ‘A 17-year-old Vietnamese national has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating a Class B drug. He remains in custody at this time. ‘Officers remain at the address while the cannabis factory is dismantled, and the property is made safe.
