OFFICERS raided a house in Havant in a planned drugs bust and arrested a woman.

Footage shows Havant police bursting through the front door on Wednesday morning. The Havant High Harm Team and Havant & Waterlooville Neighbourhood Policing Teams carried out the warrant in Broadmere Avenue.

A police dog was also utilised. Havant police said: ‘With the assistance of Police Dog Patch we recovered a quantity of Class A drugs and have arrested a 39-year-old woman from Havant on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A.

‘She has been released from police custody but remains under investigation while our enquiries continue.’

A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokeswoman added the operation took place at 9.15am, with Class B drugs also being located. The quantity of substances is not known yet.

The spokeswoman added: ‘We carried out the warrant off the back of numerous reports of drug related activity and anti-social behaviour at the address.’
