Cosham home burgled while occupants were in with thief making off with Ford C-Max car

POLICE are searching for a burglar who stole a car after gaining entry to an occupied Cosham home and taking the car keys.

Officers were called after the burglary at the property in Courtmount Grove, which is believed to have taken place sometime between 12.45am and 1.30am on Wednesday.

The property’s occupants were at home as the burglar got in and took a set of car keys for a Ford C-Max, which was then stolen.

Police are hoping that a nearby resident may have a video doorbell or dash cam footage that could help with enquiries, according to a spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary.

She said: ‘We would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw or heard anything.’
