What have police said?
In a statement released earlier today, a Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said that officers had been called to Meadowsweet Way in Wymering after a fight broke out between a group of people.
Police were called just after midnight on Sunday.
The spokesman added: ‘A 17-year-old boy was found with two stab wounds to his back and was taken to hospital.

Has anyone been arrested?
A 16-year-old boy from Fareham is in police custody following the incident, the force spokesman said.
He was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is currently in police custody.
How did neighbours react?
Residents of Meadowsweet Way described the scenes in the early hours of the morning as being 'like a riot'.

With yobs reportedly seen hurling bricks and bottles at each and swinging large lumps of wood.
