Joey Romero: Hampshire police ask public for help in hunt for wanted man, 33, who skipped court

HAMPSHIRE police have turned to the public for help in the hunt for a man who failed to attend a court hearing – but they have warned people not to approach him if they see him.

Joey Romero, 33, pictured, was supposed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday.

Police said he has connections with Gosport, Waterlooville, the Isle of Wight and Southampton.

They also want to speak to him in connection with a theft from a Winchester department store in November.

Romero is described as 6ft 5ins tall of a slim build, with dark brown hair.

He has three small stars tattooed on his left hand and lettering tattooed on each of the fingers on the same hand.

Anyone who has seen Romero, or knows where he is, is urged to call police on 101, quoting 44200018721.
