Judges jail drug dealer
A DRUG dealer who was spared prison has been sent to jail.
Government figures were published yesterday showing how many crown court sentences had been considered unduly lenient last year and then increased by judges.
The figures revealed a defendant convicted of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply had been given a two-year term suspended for two years at Portsmouth Crown Court.
Judges ultimately increased the sentence to an immediate term of three years.
