Leigh Park woman, 31, released on bail again after arrest for 52 false rape, sex assault and assault allegations

A WOMAN arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice by allegedly making false allegations of rape has been re-bailed.

The 31-year-old from Leigh Park was arrested last month by Hampshire police officers and released until Friday.

But she was then re-bailed by investigating officers until January 15.

It’s understood there are 52 false allegations being examined by police.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said: ‘‘The woman, from Havant, was arrested on Friday, October 15 on suspicion of committing an act/series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice in connection with a number of suspected false allegations of rape, sexual assault and assault.’
