Man arrested and 'heroin' seized by police in Portsmouth

A MAN has been arrested as part of the police's clampdown on county lines drug trade in Portsmouth.

Officers also seized an amount of drugs believed to be heroin.

Malakai Shaquille Simon of Gallow Lane in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire was arrested in High Wycombe yesterday by the Metropolitan Police Service as part of a joint operation with Hampshire Constabulary.

He was subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and two offences of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

The 22-year-old was remanded to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.
