Man fined for order breach

A MAN who climbed up a drainpipe to spy on his ex-girlfriend has been fined for breaching a restraining order.

Dean Roxburgh, 25, of Emsworth Road, North End, Portsmouth, admitted breaching the order.

He had been given that on January 8 after admitting harassing Kelsey Scutt by sending WhatsApp messages and calling her. Roxburgh even climbed a drainpipe to eavesdrop on her.

Now magistrates have fined him £100 for breaching the order by phoning her and texting her on January 18.

Roxburgh, who appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court, must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs for the offence committed just 10 days after he was convicted.
