Man found dead at multi-storey car park in Fareham

Police and paramedics were called to a ‘concern for a person’s welfare’ in Osborn Road just before 7am on Thursday morning.

Officers have now confirmed a man was found dead at the scene.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘His next of kin have been informed.

‘At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.’

Osborn Road and the multi-storey car park were later reopened.
