A MAN from Havant was found hiding in a shed after a police chase from Southampton to Portsmouth.

A car with a fake number plate was spotted by traffic police in Southampton on Tuesday.

A 21-year-old man from Havant has been arrested on suspicion of theft, dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

He has been released under investigation.
