Police hunt 'greasy-haired' yob 'with a limp' who threatened to beat up WHSmith staff in Waterlooville

A MAN with ‘greasy hair’ and ‘a limp’ who threatened staff at a book shop is being hunted for by police.

The yob issued the chilling threat to a worker at WHSmith in London Road, Waterlooville, on Thursday, December 5 at about 4.30pm.

Hampshire Constabulary has since issued CCTV footage of the suspect they believe was responsible for the assault.

He is described as being aged about 35, 6ft 3ins tall, white and with ‘dark, short, greasy hair’, of ‘large build’ and ‘walking with a limp’, police said.

A spokesman for Hampshire police added: ‘We know the image isn’t of the best quality, but it’s the best we have available at this time.’
