Police hunt woman after man is punched in the face during burglary in Buckland

The 39-year-old was attacked after a man and woman entered his property in Sultan Road, Buckland, shortly after 2pm on Monday.

Hide AdHe was left with bruising to his face and had a number of mobile phones stolen from him during the raid, police have said.
Now detectives investigating the crime have released an image of a woman they believe was involved in the aggravated burglary, which a senior officer has since described as ‘unusual’.
She is described as white, aged in her late 20s, 5ft tall and of medium build. She had long, dark hair, and was was wearing a black skirt, red top, a cream coloured scarf, and large brown sunglasses.

Hide AdActing Detective Inspector Richard Gibson said: ‘This is an unusual incident, and we have not received any similar reports in the area. I’m hoping that someone will recognise the woman pictured, or saw her in the area at the time, to help us to progress our enquiries.’
