Police release CCTV image amid hunt for two men after knifepoint robbery of Portsmouth shop

POLICE are hunting two men after a knifepoint robbery at a shop yesterday evening.

The assailants brandished the weapon during a raid at the One Stop store in Allaway Avenue, Paulsgrove, at 9.39pm where they stole cigarettes and money. Nobody was hurt in the incident.

The white male is thought to be about 30-years-old with a medium build and around 5ft 7in tall.

The second man is described as between 20 to 30 years of age with a slim build and height of around 5ft 9in.

He is also white and was wearing a green/khaki padded jacket.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘We are also seeking private CCTV or dash cam footage in the area opposite the One Stop store between 9.30pm and 9.50pm.’
