Police team temporarily swaps its base

NEIGHBOURHOOD police are moving temporarily while work is carried out on their base.

Butser’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) are at Waterlooville station from today. The NPT covers between Petersfield and Horndean, including Butser, Clanfield and Rowlands Castle.

They will be based in the station for 12 weeks. Chief Inspector Beth Pirie, East Hants district commander, said: ‘I want to reassure residents that this temporary move will not affect the service.’

Officers will be later based at Penns Place as Petersfield police station is being sold to Petersfield Museum.
