Portsmouth man, 20, who assaulted victim must pay £1,477 after admitting his crimes

Gavin Cox, 42, of Lazy Acre, Emsworth, admitted sending a grossly offensive message on May 29 last year.

Magistrates imposed a two-year community order with 32 days' relationships course.

Magistrates also imposed a two-year restraining order.

He must pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Blair Dolan, 24, of Southsea Terrace, Southsea, admitted drink-driving in Northern Parade on October 24 last year.

A test revealed she had 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates fined her £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Dolan was banned from driving for 18 months.

Shane Doughty, 35, of Brookhouse Road, Farnborough, admitted cannabis drug-driving in Chalton Lane, Clanfield, on June 6 last year.

Magistrates fined him £80 with a 12-month ban.

He must pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Matthew Heath, 26, of Grebe Close, Wecock Farm, admitted drink-driving on October 30 last year.

A breath test revealed he had 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates fined him £234 with a £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

He was banned from driving for a year.

Blake Cohman, 24, of Talbot Road, Southsea, admitted assaulting an emergency worker on October 30 in Portsmouth.

Magistrates ordered him to pay £100 compensation.

Lee Norris, 34, of Beaconsfield Road, Waterlooville, admitted breaching his sex offenders' registration by living in an an address for more than three days and not telling police on August 7.

He must pay an £80 fine with £34 surcharge.

Harvey Tanner, 20, of Normandy Road, Hilsea, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on June 8 in 2019 in Portsmouth.

He also admitted damaging a taxi door to the value of £300.

Tanner must pay a £538 fine, £800 compensation, £54 surcharge and £85 costs - totalling £1,477.

Chloe Cotton, 21, of Radnor Street, Southsea, admitted having a kitchen knife in public in Charlotte Street, Landport, on October 20.

Magistrates imposed a two-year community order with six-week curfew between 7pm-7am. She must complete 30 days' rehabilitation activities.

Cotton must pay a £95 surcharge.

An order was made to destroy the knife.
