A MAN has been charged with sixteen thefts as part of a city operation targeting shoplifters.

Jay Johnathan Steven Marsh, 29, of Fratton Way, Fratton, was charged with 16 counts of theft from a shop and remanded in custody to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.
