Supermoto bike rider, 15, seriously injured in Portsmouth crash as car driver is arrested

The 15-year-old rider of a Lexmoto Adrenaline was injured at Rudmore Roundabout at 3.53pm on Sunday, Hampshire police said.

A witness said the rider’s pillion passenger, an 18-year-old man, was uninjured.

The driver of the Skoda Octavia involved in the crash, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving over the specified drug limit. He was released under investigation and police say inquiries are ongoing.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital, his injuries are described as serious but he is in a stable condition.’
