Teenage girl from Fareham arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm

A 16-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm after officers found another teenager with facial injuries.

Police officers attended an incident on Saturday, August 8 after receiving reports of an assault at Strawberry Fields, Shore Road in Warsash.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘On arrival officers located a 16-year-old girl with facial injuries. A 16-year-old girl from Fareham was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

‘She has been released from custody on police bail. The investigation is ongoing.’
