Teenage girl who went missing yesterday is found by Portsmouth police

POLICE have confirmed they have now located a missing teenage girl known as Alesha.

Hampshire Constabulary launched an appeal after concerns were raised for the welfare of the 14-year-old girl after she was reported missing from her Southampton home on the afternoon of November 24.

She was last seen at around 3pm today (November 25) near Winston Churchill Avenue in Portsmouth.

However a tweet from Portsmouth police has confirmed she has now been found and is safe.

The tweet stated: ‘We can confirm that missing 14-year-old Alesha has now been located. Thank you to all who shared our appeal!’
