This is why police were in Fratton earlier today

A van and a police car were pictured, along with an ambulance, in Clive Road at the junction with Barnes Road this afternoon.

The road was partially blocked due to presence of the vehicles.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called out to reports of a disturbance at an address on Clive Road at 11.03am this morning (3 May).

‘Officers have attended an address but no offences have been disclosed.’
